The director is seeking actors for lead and supporting roles for stage play in Richmond, VA. The play is centered around two brothers who thought they dealt with their private pain, discover they have been controlled by their past. Through their road to reconciliation, they unlock the mysteries of what held them back. Actors must live in the Richmond, VA area for rehearsals and production.
Production will be on March 15, 2015 at 7pm in Richmond, Va.
Director is casting the following roles:
Young Gavin: (Bit part) Child role (ages 6-10) Childhood Gavin; experiences childhood difficulties and pain
Young Cameron: (Bit part) Child role (ages 6 – 10) Childhood Cameron; experiences childhood difficulties and pain
Gavin (lead): MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
Older brother of Cameron; sixth-year senior; Confident and energetic personality; Attaches on to loved ones.
Unresolved issues from his past have been the source of his current actions.
Cameron (lead): MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
Younger brother of Gavin; successful and studious; athletic; loves his family; loyal; Christian; confident in his identity; genuine personality.
Hazel (lead): MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
The Queen Bee on campus; she lives for attention and compliments; a complete tease to all of the guys on campus;
All the guys want her and all the girls want to be her; Flirty personality
Joy (supporting): MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE Sweet girl who works in the new student transfer office; responsible for keeping an eye on the progress of Cameron;
likes Cameron; Christian; has experienced a lot of hurt in college,
however she does not let that stop her from love.
Lonnie: MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
Childhood friend of Gavin; smokes and parties with Gavin and Darrell; hasn’t changed; brags about girls and money, however lacks both; tries to make an appearance.
Darrell: MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
Childhood friend of Gavin; he is the clown of the group; loves making jokes and talking about people;
the most liked out of the trio
Madison: MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
Hazel’s roommate; very studious and sweet; looks up to Hazel as a big sister; family oriented; secretly wants to get attention like Hazel, but doesn’t agree with Hazel’s actions; met all of her friends through Hazel.
Santana: MUST LOOK COLLEGE AGE
College friend of Gavin; knows everyone’s business on campus; tries to act very hard on the exterior, however is very kind. Respects Cameron, however does not understand him.
Young Mr. Evans: (Bit part) MUST LOOK IN BETWEEN 20’s – 30’s – Younger version of Mr. Evans
Young Mrs. Evans: (Bit part) MUST LOOK IN BETWEEN 20’s – 30’s – Younger version of Mrs. Evans
Old Mr. Evans: MUST LOOK IN BETWEEN 40’s – 50’s – Dad of Cameron and Gavin; loves his children; has experienced many difficulties
