Sony’s edgy superhero TV show “Powers” is filming season 2 in Atlanta and now casting people to work as paid TV extras.
Sony Playstation streaming series “Powers” is casting background actors for a variety of small roles. The show is looking for talent available to work this week in the Atlanta area. The show is seeking people to play attorneys, attorney clients, police / security types, Google employee types, hipsters and people who have cars that may be used in the show. The roles listed below will work in the Atlanta area. Please see the individual roles listed for call dates and more information.
The show is based on the comic, called Powers, by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming. Sharlto Copley and Michelle Forbes play the crime fighting duo Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim. The duo investigate special types of crimes, those committed by “powers.” The show is produced by Jinxworld and Circle of Confusion in association with Sony Pictures Television. Brian Michael Bendis, Charlie Huston, Remi Aubuchon, Michael Avon Oeming, Michael Dinner, and David Engel serve as executive producers.
A few months back Sony made the announcement that “Powers” was renewed for a second season and had ordered 10 new episodes for 2016. The show airs on the Playstation platform and is the first original scripted series for the new network. “Powers” is available for free to all Playstation Plus subscribers and fans can expect new episodes to be available on the platform in the spring of 2016.
