I am an actress turned writer & director for this project. Take me with you is a short film representation of the artists’ struggle and journey to be heard and understood. It is a play within a film, and people with theater experience are welcome and encouraged to apply. The play is set in the Elizabethan era and the film itself is present day.
There are still 7 MALE main speaking roles that have yet to be cast.

Auditions will be held on February 17th, from 1pm-4pm & February 21st, from 10am-1pm.
Shooting will be in early-mid April, 3 days total. 1 weekend and 1 weekday.

The Character (Male)
Age: 20-30’s
Soft Spoken, extremely expressive. Unsure of the world around him, strong vocal/voice over skills.
The House (Male)
Age: 20-30’s
Audience member, strong vocal/voice over skills, expressive, passionate and insightful.
Actor 1 (Male)
Age: 20’s-40’s
Outcast of the social circle. Overly comedic, very expressive, class clown personality, Comedy/sketch/improv. & lazzi experience is a huge plus.
Actor 2 (Male)
Age: 20’s-40’s
Outcast of the social circle. Melodramatic, very expressive, commanding presence, strong voice with great range.
Actor 3 (Male)
Age: 20’s-40’s
Outcast of the social circle. Strong character, natural, direct and opinionated.
Player 1 (Male)
Age: teens-20’s
Social circle innitiate, youngest member. Naive, soft hearted and impressionable.
Player 3 (Male)
Age: 20’s-50’s
Player 2’s toady. Pompous, slimy and judgemental. Does whatever Player 2 says.
