Avenue Road Arts School – Musical Theatre Company (Grades 7-12) Call for Auditions

This is a class for students who are serious about learning the skills required to perform in musical theatre. Singing, voice work, choreography, movement, improvisation and character development will be incorporated in this performance-based class designed in a professional, company setting format. This is a yearlong program with the cast working on two productions at a professional theatre venue. One on one singing/music coaching as well as choral work will be part of the program. Costumes, set and props are part of each performance and students will be expected to attend extra blocking, dress and technical rehearsals. Students may choose to register for the full year and participate in both shows or registration will also be accepted for one production alone. Students must request an audition if new to the program.
If accepted, the class occurs Mondays 4:30-7:00 PM during the fall, from the week of September 19-December 10.
Tuition fees will apply if accepted into the company:
Performance I: $825.00
Performance II: $825.00
Full Year: $1500.00 + HST
