We are looking for a female person of color to portray a medical research doctor in an upcoming industrial film. We’re especially interested in an actor who does not over-act. Someone who can be as natural as possible.
CHARACTER: Dr. Linwood is a medical doctor in the science research field; interested in getting more patients to sign up for her new clinical trial; has ethical guidelines to follow, but they seem to just get in the way sometimes; has a new employee whom she assigns to bring in new patients to the trial, and puts pressure on her to get them in no matter what; on top of that, this new study will mean a lot for her career; at her core, she is a good person who wants to help people, but finds the red tape in scientific research very frustrating.
