Auditions in Ann Arbor Michigan for “Electron Blade” Movie

We will be holding open auditions for many of the main characters in the Electron Blade universe. If you are interested in the chance to play one of these roles, then join us at the following times and audition for us.

October 28th, 6:00pm to 10:00pm
October 29th, 12:00pm to 9:00pm
October 30th, 11:00am to 3:00pm

The following roles we are currently casting are as follows:
Nova (Female 18-26, Open Ethnicity) Intelligent, sincere, kind, anxious, yet strong, devout. She is the protagonist of the film. She has a good heart, but doesn’t know how to follow it.

Gem (Female 18-26, Open Ethnicity) Brash, rude, funny, sarcastic, the definition of a bad-girl. Imagine the girl chewing gum in the back of the classroom with her feet on her desk.

Kai (Male 18-26, Asian) On the outside, Kai appears naive, sensitive, and devout, but he is so much more. Tough, cunning, and intelligent beyond reason, Kai is Nova’s love interest and adopted brother. He is one of the few characters in the film without superhuman abilities.

Janusz/K’Thal (Male 18-35, Open Ethnicity) Janusz was once Kai and Nova’s best friend, but is now inhabited by the ancient spirit of K’Thal. Once fun-loving and playful as Janusz, K’Thal is now strict, severe, and the right hand of God.

Kai’s Mother (Female 40’s and older, Asian) Bitter and angry, she is not the loving mother stereotype. The love she bears goes no farther than her husband, and a sympathetic feeling for Kai.

Kai’s Father (Male 40’s and older, Asian) Strict and menacing, Kai’s Father is not afraid to get physical with his children. Intimidating in demeanor and stature, he is the antithesis in personality to his son.

Gem’s Mother (Female 40’s and older, Open Ethnicity) Unpredictable, loving, and sincere. She has missed her daughter and truly cares, but Gem does not share her views.

Avus (Male 40’s and older, Open Ethnicity) Scavenger, bounty-hunter, zealot, treacherous and deceitful, Avus worships the darkness that grows within a heart.

Jasik (Male 18-26, Black) Empathetic and suffering, Jasik struggles with a substance problem. His deep sensitivity causes him great pain, sending him to find refuge in whatever helps him escape his horrible reality.

Lia (Female 18-26, Black) Lia has been caring for her brother, Jasik, their whole lives, putting her own needs behind those of her brother. She is tough and closed off, caring only for Jasik.

Yggdrasil (50’s and older, Open Ethnicity) Ancient and timeless, wise beyond reason, selfless and brave, Yggdrasil is the symbol that keeps hope and light alive.
