“Nightmare,” an independent short film project is casting lead and supporting roles in the Austin Texas area where the film will be shooting September 16-18. The film project is directed by Jared Bloom.
“Nightmare” is an emotionally intense short that expresses the raw terror felt by the main character, who hopelessly tries to escape the scene. A twist at the end of the film reveals the truth behind why the Girl is so overwhelmingly afraid of the Woman.
Available Roles:
Girl — Lead (All ethnicities // Female // Age 18-29) Caught unawares in a surreal dream, the main, unnamed character tries desperately to find the keys to her escape.
Woman — Supporting (All ethnicities // Female // Age 30-45) The “boss” of the two antagonists in the dream. The Woman controls the girl’s fears in both the dream and in real life.
Man — Supporting (All ethnicities // Male // Age 30-50) Serves as a loyal henchman to the Woman, terrorizing the Girl and attempting to capture her in her nightmare.
