CASTING CALL FOR INDIE SHORT FILM

Rlawrence Films, a well-known film company that brought the movie “Second Chances” earlier this year to the DMV and will soon be screened in Atlanta, and New York, is now in pre-production for an independent short film – “Kelly” directed by Randall Lawrence. The film is about a child being molested by one of her parents.
The film company is auditioning for the lead – Kelly.
Kelly is a young girl, age ranging between 10-13. It is not required that the actress is experienced, however, it will be preferred. There will NOT BE ANY physical portrayal of the act of molestation on screen.
The film will be screened in theaters in DC, Atlanta, and New York. It will also be submitted to film festivals across the country. The film will be shot on Saturday, July 16th–this will be a one day shoot.
I’m the casting director for “Kelly”, under the direction of Executive Producer, Adiyb Muhammad, Black Carpet Productions.
Parents who are interested in their daughters auditioning for the role of Kelly, please do the following:
Interested actresses should prepare a monologue or a presentation which demonstrates their acting skills.
Video submissions will be initially accepted; but, an on camera audition will be required for call backs.
