In the midst of white collar scandal Mercer Capital is now “unofficially” under the management of Kendall Holloway. Climbing out of debt and securing a future for his family has been the center focus of his life. Xanax and insomnia linger on the seams of his sanity. With his best hand at his fingertips and the chips stacking in his favor a sufficient piece of him still envies his counterparts. Supernatural sighting pierce the border between his reality and the artificial society that he realizes was never built for his consumption.
