Auditions for “A Christmas Carol,” 13th Annual

Location: Cranston, Rhode Island

Type: Theater

Seeking Actors & Singers: Adults, teenagers, and children (ages 7 & up) of all skill levels. Available amount of roles: (8-10) Adults, (4) Teenagers, (6) Children. Experience working with actors of all ages and acting backgrounds in a collaborative, ensemble setting encouraged.

Bring: Resume & Headshot (or current photo)

Prepare: A one-minute monologue from any adaptation of A Christmas Carol and 16 bars of a Christmas carol/song, sung a cappella. Text from Charles Dickens’ novel available freely online at Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org) and at local libraries. Piano and accompaniment not provided for song.

About A Christmas Carol 2016 production:
A holiday tradition and the most anticipated theatrical production of Artists’ Exchange, it is a community production performed in Cranston at both Theatre 82 and the historic Park Theatre, December 8-17, 2016. This year’s 13th annual production is a new and contemporary adaptation, with a small close-knit ensemble cast and focus on technology and “being connected.” Please note above mentioned number of available roles for casting. Directed by Jessica Chace with Musical Director Tom Chace.
