Katie is a therapist who was born with the special ability that allows her to see how much time people have left to live. She falls in love with one of her patients, but this man has only 30 days left.
KATIE (20s): A young professional, a therapist. Because of her ability to see when people will die, she’s seen the seconds tick by on everyone she’s ever cared about; it’s no surprise that she withdrew. Tip-toes the line of social brusqueness. Torn between longing for an emotional connection with someone and the innate, heavily-cultured instinct to protect herself. In her eyes, people aren’t worth the risk, and relationships are uncharted territory.
PARKER (20s-early 30s): Ex-military. He’s seen his fair share and carries the weight on shoulders that were born to protect others. Learning to let his pre-soldier free spirit have a bit more rein in his life. Tries to balance returning to normalcy with all he’s experienced and the baggage that comes with it.
