About the Film
“Mom” is a 5-7 minute, independent, unpaid short film. MOM is a non-linear psychological thriller/drama, with influences from film noir. The film is about Jane- a young woman who after being evicted and trying to avoid her debts, finds an older woman that is temporarily renting out a room in her house at a price that Jane can afford (with what little money she has left). When Jane learns that her host is actually interested in paying her to stay permanently- as her pretend daughter- Jane must ultimately decide how far she is willing to go for money.
Shoot Date(s): Sunday March 26-27, 2016 7am-7pm (Location TBA)
Compensation: unpaid; cast/crew will receive a digital copy of completed product and screen credit and meals on the day of the shoot
