A new AMC series called “The Son” is beginning production in the Austin Texas area and now casting extras.
The show has a current need of a Hispanic baby between the ages of 6 months and 12 months to play the baby of one of the show’s characters. The show has yet to set a filming date for the scene / scenes so those submitting their babies should have a fairly flexible schedule. “The Son” will begin filming in and around the Austin Texas area later this month and production will continue into the summer and fall. The show is accepting submissions from parents with individual babies and multiples. Please see below for all the details.

AMC’s “The Son” is a TV adaptation of a book written by Philipp Meyer, Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy. The upcoming show is set during the late 1800?s and tells the story of Eli McCullough and his family through the Texas oil boom of that time. The oil discovery in Texas caused rapid growth in the region, brought on an era of industrialization that made America a superpower.
NEW AMC SERIES “THE SON” – LOOKING FOR SUBMISSIONS OF HISPANIC BABIES – AGES 6 MONTHS-12 MONTHS OLD.
The New AMC Series “The Son” is in pre-production to begin filming in Austin and Surrounding Areas (Dripping Springs, Hamilton Pool, Blanco) by late June 2016.
The filming schedule has not been finalized, but we expect to start filming on June 20, 2016. We will only be filming Monday through Fridays. The show is expected to begin filming from late June to October 2016.
We are looking for a single baby or twins or triplets, age range 6 months – 12 months in age, Hispanic ethnicity, Male or Female to portray the child of one of the characters on the show.
This is a background extra role.
Filming Dates: TBD
Filming Hours: Hours will depend on age of baby according to SAG rules.
Pay Rate: TBD (the role will be paid)

NEW AMC SERIES “THE SON” LOOKING FOR DRIVERS/OWNERS OF VINTAGE FORD MODEL T CARS

We are currently seeking owners of vintage Ford Model T cars to be background extras on the first episode of “The Son”. We would like to have the owners of these vehicles drive their own vehicles on screen and portray the drivers.
