Extras casting call in Georgia
The show’s casting directors at Cynthia Stillwell are looking for local talent to fill a variety of extras / background roles in the project. The Amazon series Z. is set in 1918 and is about the life and times of Zelda Fitzgerald, a writer and wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald. The show stars filming in and around the Savannah, Georgia area beginning next week on June 16th. Since this is a period piece set in 1918, extras applying for the show must be able to fit into that time frame. Casting directors are seeking individuals with natural looks as well as soldier types. The roles do involve costumes and there are some sizing restrictions due to costumes. Please see below for all the details.
Z: The Beginning of Everything is a bio-series of the life of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, Southern Belle turned flapper, writer and icon of modern feminism. Starting right before Zelda meets unpublished writer F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1918, Z dives into the fascinating life of a woman ahead of her time and the story of the most famous, and infamous, couple of the Roaring 1920s. The show is based on Therese Anne Fowler’s novel about Zelda.
Z stars Christina Ricci as Zelda. Zelda Sayre is an 18 year old, young woman living in Montgomery, Alabama in 1918. Zelda has a flamboyant side her stern father disagrees with and tries to squash. Zelda is a big city girl who is stuck in a small town life, which she would like to escape. After Zelda meets novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald the pair embark on an adventure that will make them one of the most infamous couples of their time.

GWCI is seeking SAG-AFTRA and NON UNION MEN AND WOMEN to portray Speakeasy Patrons with dance experience for the new Amazon series starring Christina Ricci, “Z: The Beginning of Everything”.
Ages 18-45, Caucasian and African American.
Shoot date is 8/5 and 8/8, filming in NYC. Fitting will be in Queens. NYC Locals only.

GWCI is seeking SAG-AFTRA and NON UNION African American MALE Jazz Musicians to portray 1920s speakeasy musicians for the new Amazon series starring Christina Ricci, “Z: The Beginning of Everything.”
Ages 18-80, African American Men.
