Casting Lots of Paid Extras in TN For Concert Scene on ABC’s “Nashville”

A new season of  “ABC’s  country music drama “Nashville”  is in production in the Nashville area.

The country music drama is now filming new episodes for the new season and has an upcoming concert scene coming up that will be needing many paid extras.

The ABC series is now in it’s 4th season. The country music oriented drama is created by Callie Khouri and stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as two country music superstars, Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Season 4 premiered last fall and will continue to air new episodes into the spring of 2016.

The show films in the Nashville Tennessee area and will only be considering adult talent that is local to the area.  The scenes listed below were supposed to have been filming this weekend, however, the shoot has been pushed back to this coming Monday due to bad weather.

The show is looking to cast male and female talent of all ethnicities, ages 18-70 to play concert goers in a large venue. The notice states that there may also be some specialty roles available for the scene as well.

Nashville TN residents who would like to tryout for a small role in the show may follow the below directions to get their photos ind contact information to the show’s casting directors.

NASHVILLE, TN Casting Notice – ABC Television series “Nashville” for work on MONDAY 1/25/16. (*this scene has been rescheduled from Friday 1/22/16 & Sunday 1/24/16)

STROBE LIGHTS will be used during these performances. Persons with light sensitivity, epilepsy or who are prone to seizures/headaches caused by flashing/strobing lights should NOT attend either of these performances.

BAD WEATHER is still expected to linger througout the area on Monday. Please take this into consideration before you submit. If you think that any adverse weather conditions (snow, ice, sleet, wind, freezing temperatures) will cause you to cancel or miss your booking – please DO NOT submit.

Tentative Call Time will be 8:30am and you would need to be fully 100% available on work dates. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

Location is in the NASHVILLE, TN area.

EXTRAS:

We MAY have some specialty roles available on both of these work dates, which we will assign as needed based on those who submit for Audience. MUST be willing to work as Audience to be considered for a specialty role. If you are not interested in being considered for specialty and prefer Audience only, please let us know–

CONCERT AUDIENCE: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-70, variety of types who might attend a concert performance at a large venue

We will give first priority to those who were originally booked to work on Friday 1/22 or Sunday 1/24, however we are taking NEW submissions from anyone available to work and who will plan to SHOW UP! Please don’t sign up if you aren’t going to attend!!

      I know there are at least 2 reality shows looking for that. Not sure if they are still casting, but you can check through the reality TV section to see if you can find them.
