Toronto / GTA area casting directors at Jigsaw Casting are looking for Canadian moms that have some opinions and things to share in an online campaign called #MomGuilt.
The production is looking for moms who can talk about what it’s like to be a mom and share their personal stories of #MomGuilt. These stories can be embarrassing, trivial, funny or sad and the moms telling them must be passionate, genuine and honest about their experience of mom guilt. The project is looking for Canadian moms between the ages of 25 and 50 from all walks of life and family situations be it married, divorced, stay at home, career mom or anything else.
Casting directors with Jigsaw Casting are asking Canadian moms to submit their stories and photos via email in order to be considered for the spot. Those moms cast for the campaign will be paid $1200 for the shoot. Please note that this casting call is only open to moms in Canada that are able to legally work in Canada.
Moms interested in the project must get their submissions in by Wednesday, July 6th at 9am in order to be considered, however, the earlier you get the submissions in, the better. The spot will film in the Toronto area and moms selected through initial email submissions will need to attend an in person audition in Toronto on July 10th. Please only apply if you live in or around the Toronto area as travel expenses are not covered.

#MomGuilt is a hashtag that allows Moms to share things they would otherwise be too embarrassed to. These thoughts can be funny, trivial, sad, or thoughtful. But they’re always honest.
We’re looking for Moms between the ages of 25-50 from all walks of life and backgrounds: single, married, divorced, stay at home, career woman… we want you all to weigh in! We’re looking for women who are genuine, passionate, conversational and approachable. Women who can express what it’s really like to be a Mom without sugar coating it.
If you have a best friend or sister who is also a mom we’d love to hear from both of you! Please submit together. We’d also like to hear from young moms and their mother.
Pays approximately $1200 if selected/per person

1. Your name, age & occupation/vocation. Tell us about your family (partner, kids, ages, extended family).
2. Tell us about your biggest Mom Guilt moments! As a Mom, what do you feel guilty about? Examples: A) “I let my son pee beside the house instead of going inside when we’re in the backyard.” Or B) “I told my daughter the summer ended because she never cleaned her room” or ?
3. Photo(s) of yourself & your family (Where we can clearly see your face. Ideally no hats or sunglasses).
4. Your primary contact information (phone number & email address) *If you are a represented actor, please include your union status, resume & your agent’s contact information
5. Please write ‘PROJECT MOM GUILT’ in subject line of e-mail, along with your name and age. (E.G. PROJECT MOM GUILT- Janya Brown – age 35)
