Casting a PSA for World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims & Survivors

09/26/2016

Casting: Survivors/Amputees for a PSA for World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Location: NYC

Type: Other Projects

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: We are producing an impactful Public Service Announcement for a World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on November 20th. The purpose of the campaign is to draw attention to the fact that car crashes affect more people than wars, terrorism or other catastrophic events on a daily basis. This project will be shown online and possibly on Brazilian television.

We hope to feature interviews with TWO (2) people on-camera who have been visibly injured in a traffic accident (those who have lost a limb, or have had some visible permanent injury) AND were present and/or survived a major traumatic event such as a war (i.e. Iraq and Afghanistan), a school shooting or other act of terrorism such as the events on 9/11.

Our ask is two-fold: we hope that you might be willing to share this with any personal or professional contacts in the New York City area (within easy driving distance) that might be able to help us locate potential candidates in a very short period of time (filming takes place in NYC sometime during the first week of October). We are also (extremely) open to any suggestions on how to go about our search as this is a tough search!

PSA casting
