Casting Marines to work as paid extras in Chicago
Season 2 of Amazon’s “Patriot” is now filming in Chicago and there is a casting call out for REAL marines who have dress uniforms (see pic below).
This is actually a rush call and the show is looking for Chicago area marines that are available for a day shoot tomorrow. The show is casting 2 actual marines for a funeral scene in the show. The casting directors are not considering actors who are able to play marines, they are only looking for real life marines that already have a dress uniform that they are able to wear on set. There is a second call out for extras available to work the same scene tomorrow.
The show premiered last year and is now filming a new season. Amazon has yet to state when new episodes will premiere and the series’ web page only says that new episodes are coming soon. The series stars Michael Dorman, Terry O’Quinn, Kurtwood Smith, Michael Chernus and Amazon’s description of the series reads as follows…. Intelligence officer John Tavner’s latest assignment, to prevent Iran from going nuclear, requires him to forgo all safety nets and assume a “non-official cover” as a mid-level employee at a Midwestern industrial piping firm. A bout with PTSD, the government’s incompetence, and the intricacies of keeping his day job cause a barrage of ever-escalating fiascos that jeopardize the mission.

REAL MARINES WITH FULL DRESS BLUES INCLUDING COVER AND BELT (no look a likes – real Marines only!)

We’re looking for 2 Marines to be in a funeral scene tomorrow in Chicago.

3) Send 2 RECENT, candid photos of yourself (one full length, one from the shoulders up so we can clearly see your face,) The better the photo quality, the better your chance of being chosen.
4) Confirm that you have your full dress blues, cover, belt, shoes, etc.

Male, Caucasian, “Seasoned bartender” look, Ages 35-55 – Someone with bartending experience preferred.
FEATURED WAITRESS
Female, Caucasian, Ages 35-55
FUNERAL ATTENDEES
Male//Female, Any ethnicity, Ages 18+
Must own dark, conservative attire for the funeral (e.g., dark suit, black dress with dark jacket, black shoes, etc.)
One scene will be filmed in a cemetery on the south side of Chicago, so please have your own transportation to set. The other scene will be filmed on the north side of Chicago and a select few will be pulled for this scene as well.
