CBS Television Studios is bringing back “MacGyver.” The show is now filming season 1 in the Atlanta area and there is a casting call out to fill various small, paid roles.
The show is looking to cast some paid extras. Extras casting for the show is being handled by Central in Atlanta. The show’s casting team is also seeking locals with cars for an upcoming scene. Central is also accepting talent submissions for other small roles. Please see the available roles listed below. The new “MacGyver” TV series will star Lucas Till (X-Men franchise) as Angus MacGyver and George Eads (CSI). The new “MacGyver” series will premiere this fall on CBS. Peter Lenkov, Craig O’Neill, James Wan, Golden Globe Award winner Henry Winkler, Lee Zlotoff and Michael Clear are executive producing for CBS along with Lionsgate.
According to the show’s IMDB page, CBS’s “MacGyver” is a re-imagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton (George Eads). Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

PAY RATE: $68/8 guarantee plus time and a half for any OT (=an additional $25 for your car!)
Central Casting is seeking a Men and Women who appear to be of retirement age and older. This is for a retirement home scene for all ethnicities. In addition, if you have a bookable car, you receive an additional bump! Your car should be 2010 or newer in good condition. No Red, White or Black!

Central Casting is seeking a Caucasian boy with blonde hair and Caucasian girl with brown hair between the ages of 11-14yrs with BRACES. Both kids will need to be willing to lean in for an awkward kiss in a flashback sequence. This is a higher rate!
