New casting call is out in the Atlanta area for CW’s popular “Vampire Diaries” spin-off, “The Originals.”
The show is filming the new season and now seeking background extras to play vikings. Casting directors are interested in Caucasian men ages 21-50 with long hair and beards. “The Originals” films in Conyers, Georgia and is only interested in talent local to the area. Casting directors at MHC are ONLY looking for those specific extras. Other notices for other looks and types may be coming up shortly and casting directors are asking that talent be patient and only apply for roles whose descriptions they fit.
The horror / fantasy series was created by “Vampire Diaries” creator, Julie Plec. The show stars Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Daniella Pineda, Leah Pipes and Danielle Campbell. The new season of the show will premiere on the CW this fall.
