Looking for Lead role in Upcoming Web Series “The Jux”
Logline: An ex-convict/stick up kid is hired by a black activist to rid his city of drugs and guns. In doing so he will oppose the same forces that imprisoned him
Character: Elijah Aka “Jux”
Age: 25-35
Physical: Athletic built preferred
Ethnicity: African American
Must be willing to perform fight choreography
This is a non-profit project.
Food and money for transportation will be provided.
A monologue for the character will be provided on arrival.
I’m looking for a an actor who can deliver a real street performance. Think “Belly” or “Paid in Full.”
Background: After serving 10 years in Prison, Jux is on a mission to kill the man responsible for his incarceration. Jux is a character with a lot of controlled anger. He’s a smooth talker but deadly with his hands and weaponry.
