PON: Sci-fi/ Cyber Punk Mini Series

PROJECT PRESENTED BY LITTLE OUPHE PRODUCTIONS:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Looking for a talented cast (can be experienced or inexperienced) that’s comfortable and natural in front of the camera. We are looking for an entirely international cast and will therefore be conducting our auditions via reading samples by video segments. This is currently a self funded project but after finding a sound cast, we look for presenting the idea through Kickstarter. If we get enough traction, we have enough confidence in our project to send it into Amazon and Netflix, but for that we need a highly professional and talented cast that will appeal to the masses. Script is in progress.
We currently have many parts available, due to this I will only present a few characters here but feel free to be yourselves in the videos you send. You can improvise if you will and add onto the lines we’ve provided. We like creative individuals who are willing to take our direction on board but who also aren’t afraid to propose other ideas in the process. Your feedback will always be taken into great consideration.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO:
Please first send us an email with a document of your basic information (name, age, height, agency if you have one, email, phone number, etc) and express in the email you’re interested in the “PON” project. We’ll then send you a confidential document of the project containing the synopsis, character bios and concept art of them, etc (this information is not to be shared whatsoever; the material is copyrighted and any attempt to alter or copy the material shared will make you liable for a lawsuit.) Make sure you have a quality video recording device of some kind, a mic is a plus but not necessary. iPads are fine or even good webcams, as long as we can see a clear close up and then far off shot of you. At the beginning of the video please state your name, where you’re from, your height, and what part you’re auditioning for. If you’re open to any role available even the ones not listed here, please state that in the beginning of your video and feel free to give us a variety of random lines or read the ones available. You may feel free to add a little bit about yourselves at the start if you wish. The video should show your natural personality or the personality you think the character would have and/or the variety of the personalities you can do. Please make sure the videos are a standard video file, either MP4, AVI, or Quicktime file and send them by email via zip or send them through a shared Google Drive link if the file is too large. Please leave 2 ways to reach you in the email with your file, such as a phone number and email address.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

You can look at hearing a response from us within 3-4 weeks. My team and I will careful review the files and give you a clear response on whether we’re considering you or not. Depending on whether or not we deem you a good fit for the character, you may or may not be chosen for your initial auditioned role. It is a possibility that we might believe you to be a better fit for one of our other roles, and that option will be presented to you.
THE STORY:
We are developing an action based futuristic mini series with an 80’s inspired flare. The story provides a fabricated account of the origin story of the first official “mech” (a robotic device driven by a human) in space history. The story is sci-fi/cyber-punk based but with underlining action-thriller, romantic, and political elements.
THE ROLES/CHARACTERS:
-ELITIA FRITZGERALD: The protagonist of our mini series. Tough, gritty, determined, sarcastic humor, has spunk, natural leader but also is one of team. Think stereotypical 80’s heroine mixed with a female version of Star Wars’ Han Solo. Preferences for Elitia: Female, tan to dark skin, bi-racial/minority (huge plus but not required), short (huge plus but not required), willing to wear a wig or have hair styled in a certain way.
-LENN JOHNSON: Calm, introvert, deep thinker, outcast, an all-around really good guy and the second main character of our story. Half human/half humanoid alien species. Preferences for Lenn: Male, fair to medium skinned, light to medium hair, tall (plus but not required), kind voice, nice smile, should be a complete balance to Elitia’s dominating personality; looking for someone who can achieve a little bit of a push me-pull you chemistry with the actress. Has to be willing to wear cosmetics and possibly wear facial prosthetics.
-FLINT MANETT: Good guy, cyborg, funny sense of humor but serious on the right moments, good friend and leader.
Flint requirements: Male, can be short or tall, dark skinned (preferred), solid on serious scenes, bald (plus but not required), strong presence, must be willing to wear an arm piece prop.
(*Please keep in mind due to the high volume of characters, only a few have been provided but please send in your videos regardless of if you think you fit the exact criteria of the characters below, for we have many more not listed here)
