Open Auditions for “Dirty Dancing” on Tour

Location: Boston Massachusetts and Phialadelphia PA

Open auditions for the “Dirty Dancing”  national tour are coming to Boston and Philadelphia. The shows casting directors have been conducting a nationwide talent search for dancers to join the cast of “Dirty Dancing“. Also up for grabs are the principal roles of Johnny, Baby and Penny.

Seeking male & female dancers of any ethnicity. Especially seeking dancers with excellent technique in classical ballet or modern dance. Partnering skills are essential. Training in Latin and Ballroom a plus. SINGING NOT REQUIRED.

Dancers will be considered for Future and Immediate Replacements for the ensemble as well as principal roles of JOHNNY, BABY, and PENNY.

This production is currently touring the U.S.

Women: Bring character or ballroom shoes, as well as flat ballet or jazz shoes.

Wear classic form fitting dance attire. Nothing trashy or flashy please.

Men: Bring jazz or character shoes. Clothing should be well fitted, please no shorts or baggy sweatpants.

Bring picture and resume stapled together.
