Open Casting Call in Fresno for Comedic Christian Film Speaking Roles

The Summer of Serendipity

Location: Fresno, California

Type: Film

The Summer of Serendipity is a comedy feature about a backwoods teenage girl who is sent by her grandfather to live with her snooty well-meaning aunt in order to become a proper young lady. The more she tries to be someone she is not, the greater the comical results. While there she adjusts to her new environment (with many devices she has never seen), connects with her cousins and others, gets a job in the local movie-house, and increases the youth group with her evangelistic gifts, while always influencing others with her optimistic outlook, strong faith, and the love of Jesus.

This is a Christian production looking for Christian actors of all ages for speaking and non-speaking roles.

We will begin shooting in March, and will film mostly on weekends. Many day players needed, but lead and supporting roles must be local as shooting may stretch out over many months. We are located fifteen miles south of Fresno, California.
