“The Night Before Christmas” Auditions for Salt Lake Ballet Theater

The Night Before Christmas has found it’s new home with the Salt Lake Ballet Theater in it’s tenth year running. This is a local artistic treasure. A great tradition for families and friends to attend and ring in the holiday spirit. Written and directed by Neil Hess a national award winning director.
This production presents youth dancers of all ages and experiences an opportunity to participate in a professional level production.
2016 Auditions

The auditions for “The Night Before Christmas” will be held on August 20th and August 27th. The audition information is as follows:
August 20th- 12 years and older
(Do not have to be on pointe to audition at this time. If you audition on pointe you need to have had at least 1 year experience)
10:00 am-1:00 pm
August 27th- (12 year olds may audition this day as well if they aren’t on pointe)
Ages 4-5 10:00am- 10:45 am
Ages 6-8 11:00am- 12:00 pm
Ages 9-12 12:30pm- 2:30 pm
The audition fee for each audition is $10. If you are participating in “The Night Before Christmas” intensive preparation workshop August 15-19 your audition fee is included in that tuition.
All dancers attending the intensive that week will need to attend the August 20th audition. This will help prepare all dancers for audition experiences in the future.
