Auditions for Smyrna Village Players Summer Production of “Oliver”

The Smyrna Village Players welcomes actors and actresses of all ages (8 years old and over), novice or seasoned, to participate in open auditions for their summer production of Lionel Bart’s “Oliver”.
Auditions will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, and Monday, February 29, in the choir room at Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Callbacks will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, and Monday, March 7. The church is located at 1315 Concord Road in Smyrna, Ga. 30080.
Please come by anytime during those hours to audition. If you are a college student who will not be home during the audition timeframe, please contact Kimberly Withka to discuss a Skype audition during the day on Monday, February 29, or Tuesday, March 1. The dates for this year’s musical are July 21, 22 and 23. Rehearsals will start on Monday, March 28, 2016.
There are male adult (15+), female adult (15+), and children’s parts available (children MUST be at least 8 years old to audition).
The song to be used for all auditions is “Where Is Love” in the key of C major. Also, a cold reading will be required during the audition process.
All roles are non-paid, non-equity. No experience required.
