Actors Needed for Research Study

The Boston University AMP Lab is running a research study titled Enhancing Social Connection through Mobile Technology which involves the use of a mobile application. Adults with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder will use this application to help them with their social skills and social motivation in day to day life.
Part of the application is going to include video clips of people demonstrating different social skills that our participants can watch and learn from. Some of these skills may include active listening such as maintaining eye contact and exhibiting appropriate facial expressions or body gestures. Other skills may include demonstrating how to express positive or negative feelings and how to ask for help.
We are hoping to recruit people who are interested in expanding their acting experience to be in these video clips. This will not only be a valuable learning opportunity, but also a great way to help out a vulnerable population. We are looking for a few actors to take part in a series of video demonstrations.
