‘The Midlife’ Pilot Casting Call, Atlanta

In search of strong Dramatic actors and actresses who are capable of presenting a very realistic connection between characters. No prior film experience is required. However, Prior acting experience (Community theatre, Acting classes, etc.) is preferred.
Monica Jones (LEAD) – (30’s-40) a beautiful/sophisticated middle aged woman. Easily irritated yet patient, she has a strong desire for change.
Ray Jones (Supporting) – (30’s-40) a kind natured middle aged, attractive, father of 2, who also happens to be married to Monica. Easily influenced and insecure.
Sarah Franks (Recurring) – (30’s-40) Overworked stay at home mother of four. Adores her children but secretly craves a brake.
Donovan Franks (Supporting) – (30’s- 40) Ray’s good/old friend and business partner. Loves his wife Sarah but, struggles to find a balance between his work and home life.
Barbara Swanson (Supporting) – (mid 50’s – 60’s) Monica’s beloved gorgeous mother. She is immensely wise and uses her knowledge to motivate Monica.
Grayson McGee (Recurring) – (50’s), Monica’s Boss, a bearded man with glasses. Kind hearted but also business oriented. Willing to do what is necessary in order to remain afloat.
Denise (Supporting/Day Player) – (20’s), a young determined lawyer driven to pursue justice. Monica’s young and fearless work associate.
Please submit Reel or a one minute video audition of yourself performing a dramatic monologue. If selected you will receive the sides for whichever role we choose you to read for within 2 business days. Remember to slate your name, age, location and the character who you are reading for before beginning the audition. Please make sure the video is well lit, centered and positioned correctly (Your full face and shoulders are in shot and your camera is in focus) Also, make sure the audio is clear and the video is of reasonably good quality. Failure to properly follow procedures may unfortunately lead your audition to be overlooked. We cannot wait to review all of your submissions.
Talent will be selected after the second phase is complete. Chosen individuals will be notified for in person call backs.
