Kentucky Opera is holding a casting call on November 18 at 11:00am for Supernumeraries!
Supernumeraries (or Supers) are onstage extras — non-speaking & non-singing! They fully participate with the cast and chorus onstage and directors, costumes, and makeup designers offstage.
Production: The Barber of Seville by Gioacchino Rossini
Casting: 4 Male Supers (acting background not necessarily but recommended)
1 older “film director” type
3 younger “stage crew” type
Rehearsal Dates: January 23, 2018 – February 9, 2018 *Rehearsals are normally scheduled in the afternoon and at nights. Please bring any set conflicts to your auditions.
Mandatory Major Dates:
Piano Tech: February 11, 2018 (2-5pm & 7-10pm)
Piano Dress Rehearsal: February 12, 2018 (6-10pm)
Orchestra Dress Rehearsal: February 13, 2018 (6-10pm)
Final Dress Rehearsal: February 14, 2018 (6-10pm)
Performances: February 16 (8pm) & February 18
