Open call for Non profit New Orleans organization producing a web series targeted towards younger viewers (ages 18 -24) that focues on healthy teen relationship/lifestyle choices. Ultra low budget. Grant funded.
ROLES:
Male | African American | Age 18 | Role Type: Leading
Hyper Masculine, carrying trauma of having an abusive father; overly dependent on current girlfriend; budding black activist.
Talent should have muscular build.
Female | African American | Age 19 | Role Type: Leading
Lead male’s girlfriend. Budding Feminist/activist. Afro-future artist. Aspires to affect social change
Talent should have natural hair.
Male | African American | Age 49| Role Type: Featured
Lead male’s father. Ex-military, conservative and stern father. Controlling. Stiff.
Commanding presence. Has been verbally/physically abusive in the past.
Talent should have clean cut, military look.
