“A desperate man resorts to smuggling his wife inside of a piece of luggage in hopes of finding a better life in a new country. His hopes are put on hold when his plane arrives-but the bag containing his wife does not.”

“Man” Age: 40-55
Ethnic Minority

Should be able to speak fluently in their native language.
Character: A man who is troubled but well-meaning. He seems meek and reserved, but one can sense a quiet anger lying just below his outer timidity. He is a mean easily defeated and often afraid, who hides behind a mask of stoicism and complacency.

Breakdown 2

“Wife” Age: 40-55
Ethnic Minority

Should be able to speak fluently in their native language.
Character: Wife to a controlling man determined to create a new life for the both of them in a new land. While she is submissive and obedient to his demands, she bears an inner strength and poise that her husband sorely lacks.

Breakdown 3

“Security Guard” Age: 25-45
Ethnic Minority

Should be able to speak fluently in their native language.
Character: A guard at the airport who has agreed to help effectuate the Man’s plan to smuggle his wife aboard a plane in exchange for a substantial bribe. He is no-nonsense, militaristic, and very concerned about being caught.

$150 dollars for the day shooting each for both supporting role. $500 dollar honorarium for the lead actor for five days.
