Loop is a 5-8 minute short film following a young abused boy who gets trapped inside of his own mind (shown as an alleyway) and must come to terms with what has been done to him. He is on his way home when he finds himself stuck in a seemingly never-ending alleyway with only a phone as his window to the outside world. The phone rings occasionally, and he is forced to listen to the way his step-father treats his mother, who the boy is very protective of. Slowly the boy begins to fall deeper and deeper into his own psychosis, and it is left unknown if he ever makes it out. We are currently casting the lead, who should be a young boy in his early teens.
The role is entirely silent and relies heavily on facial expressions alone.
