PRODUCTION TITLE: MENTAL (2017)
Production Type: Short Film – Experimental Art Drama
Synopsis: Mental (2017), is an experimental art drama about Brain, an average person with a mundane, routine life. It takes on final humdrum job assignment to take him over the edge. Surging with feelings of discontent and wanting a change in his life, he decides to pursue something he’s always wanted. Acting. Brain must prove to himself that he can break free and has talents of his own that will lead him to a life of opportunity.
Roles needed:
Boss: (needed for April 8th)
Male, mid 40s. Stern, overbearing and verbally abusive. He harasses his employees until they hit rock bottom. He emotionally breaks Brain and takes him to the edge.
Judge #2: (needed for April 8th /April 10th)
Female, late 30s-early 40s. Pretentious and unbothered, highbrow judge. Her intimidating looks and strong presence is nerve breaking for the aspiring actors at the audition.
