Shane’s Story

Currently casting for feature film. We will be using SAG-AFTRA ULB contract. Casting union and non union actors. Brief character descriptions are provided below, send me an email with headshots, resumes, and link to a demo reel if available. I will supply you with sides for the character you are interested in. Auditions will be held in Fredericksburg, VA ON August 22, and in Shippensburg, PA on Sept. 19. I look forward to working with you all!
ROLES:
Shane Curtis: 18-22 MUST BE LEGAL 18. Caucasian LEAD, is a teenager who is sad and feeling lost. He wants to commit suicide. He has a secret he is afraid will destroy him. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH NUDITY! Do not submit if you are not comfortable.
Aaron Starr: 18-22 MUST BE LEGAL 18. Caucasian LEAD, he is Shane’s best friend. Quarterback of the high school team, very hot and physical. He is also kind of innocent and unaware of the world. Very protective of Shane. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH NUDITY! Do not submit if you are not comfortable.
Zack Taylor: 18-22 MUST BE LEGAL 18. Caucasian LEAD, he is the lead bully. He also has a dark secret and it might get him killed. He is mean and very evil, but down deep there is more to Zack than meets the eye. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH NUDITY! Do not submit if you are not comfortable.
Troy Parker: 18-22 MUST BE LEGAL 18. Caucasian/Hispanic LEAD, He is a effeminate young man who is Zack’s best friend and a bully also. However, he nowhere near being a bully. The more he tries to sound tough, the funnier he is. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH NUDITY! Do not submit if you are not comfortable.
Randy Curtis: 45-50 Caucasian Co-star, he is Shane’s dad. He is a man who loves his family, but has on tolerance of anything being different or not what he deems to be right. He is very stern with Shane, but loves his older son Tyler.
Carol Curtis: 42 -48 Caucasian, Co-star, she is Shane’s mom. She is a stand by her man kind of woman, but she does love Shane.
Tyler Curtis: 21-25 Caucasian, Co-star, is Shane’s older brother. He has been away in the military, and is on his way home and has no idea what is going on in his families life. He is just like his father. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH NUDITY! Do not submit if you are not comfortable.
Jackie Mitchel: 18-22 Female, Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, or Mixed Race, Co-star, she is Aaron’s girlfriend. She is very pretty, and has a big heart. She is smarter than Aaron, which works well with his character.
Pastor Dave: 40-60, Any Ethnicity, Male, Co-star, is a pastor at a church that Shane goes too,
Sandy: 50-70 African American, Co-star, is a waitress at a family diner. She is Paul’s best friend. Wise and very loving person. She befriends Shane.
George Taylor: 45-50, Caucasian, Co-star, is Zack’s dad. He is a very angry man, whom happens to be a alcoholic. He hates his son. Blames him for his wife leaving him.
David Steinberg: 35-45, African American, Co-star, is a lawyer
