RAISE Chicago Casting Call
Chris Wade Music Productions is seeking spirited vocalists of all ethnicities who are comfortable with Gospel, Choral, Pop, R&B material to be cast in an a cappella choir for a Holiday event at a prominent/ upscale retailer near North/Clybourn stop in Chicago. Choir will sing five 25 minute sets with breaks in the course of 3 hours, 5-8pm on WEDNESDAY NOV 29th.
Singers must be available for rehearsals Monday Nov 27th & Tuesday Nov 28th 7-10 or 11pm (rehearsal space location in Chicago TBA). Call time on Wednesday Nov 29th is 4:00pm at event location, W North Ave and N Halsted St.
Interested vocal musicians should be comfortable with a cappella choral part singing. If you are not a sight-singer, you must be able to learn and memorize your part by ear, with use of rehearsal files provided to you by Chris Wade Music Productions.
African American vocalists are encouraged to apply, but we are also casting singers of all ethnicities.
Pay offered is a flat rate for the performance day (Wed Nov 29th) as well as stipends per rehearsal attended. Performance Day will include a pickup rehearsal at the 4pm Call Time (or possibly earlier).
Day Rate for Nov 29th is $80. Rehearsals will be scheduled for Monday November 27th 7-11pm &
Tuesday November 28th 7-11pm. Each rehearsal attended pays a $10 rehearsal stipend. Attend both rehearsals and be available by at least 4pm on Wed Nov 29th, your total pay will be $100.
