Pitch Party 2017

Ever wanted to see Hamlet set in space? Think an all-female production of Titus needs to happen? Come to the BBS Pitch Party and share your crazy concepts, ideas, or suggestions for shows. We are currently planning our 2017-2018 season and we want YOUR ideas. If you have a full-fledged idea for a show, please prepare a 2-3 minute pitch* that explains the basics of the show and why you think we should do it. If you have a role (on stage or off) that you would like to play in that production, please feel free to add a short audition monologue to your pitch.**
Please RSVP by Jan. 14 and we will send you the pitch format and assign you a time slot. Feel free to bring your friends or significant others.Even if you don’t have a definite pitch in mind, please feel free to come and watch the fun!
Note; All BBS shows currently use only public domain works or devised shows. Our mission is to perform plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries, plays that inspired Shakespeare and his contemporaries, or modern devised pieces inspired by Shakespeare and his contemporaries.

*Limit 2 pitches per individual and 2 pitches per team.
BBS reserves all rights to use any ideas from the pitch party in part or whole in our upcoming productions but we only promise to listen to everyone’s pitch. We cannot promise that we will turn any pitch into a show nor can we guarantee any acting or production roles in our upcoming season.
