OPEN AUDITION:
PULP bookstore/gallery/theatre opening in July with an original, scripted (with improv elements) comedy paying tribute to the the career of actor Christopher Walken.
This production is scheduled to be presented in our dedicated 60-seat theatre on Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm for a period of 5 weeks beginning 20 July.
There will be a one month rehearsal period prior.
Audition dates are Wednesday 30 May at 7pm and Saturday 2 June at 1pm and 4pm. There are a limited number of slots for each session. Additional dates/times will be added if necessary.
Actors will be asked to prepare a scene from any one of Mr. Walken’s films AND a short original monologue to be performed in character.
All six roles are open to all actors regardless of age, gender, color, ethnicity, height, girth or credit score. Must have prior theatrical experience. Those with an improv background are highly encouraged. What matters most is that you can do a killer Walken impersonation.
