Baltimore Actress auditions.
A film about Harriet Tubman is filming in the Baltimore Maryland area and there is a casting call out for African American actresses to portray Harriet Tubman at various stages of her life, child through adult.
According to the casting call, the upcoming project will be filming this fall and expected to start production in October. MHC in Baltimore is handling the auditions and actors cast are expected to work only a few days. The project will be part of a history exhibit at a museum and the exhibit is expected to run at the museum for some years.
The project is set in the 1800’s and actresses applying must have natural hair. The roles to be filled are for actresses within 4 age groups, 6 years old, 13 years old, 25 to 30 years old and 55 to 70 years old. These are paid roles.

THIS is a Non-Union Narrative piece for the Museum and will run for many years. It is a part of History- many of these roles will shoot only for a few days, and it is also important to recognize the mature and sensitive theme of this project.
The rate is $150.00 per role for lead Roles. Please simply do not apply if the rate is not for you- We understand.
