If you are a union member, please let us know that as well. We are scheduling a table read for next month, September. This is a new stage play that has potential to become a touring company production, and into a film and television series. If you fit any of the casting breakdowns below, please email us. The table read will be the first step in getting the production started.

We are looking for 18 and older to play the teenage roles. No exceptions. If we work with the unions, we have to respect the union rules and regulations. This is a non union production as of now, but again, if an actor is a part of the union, we will definitely work with you, and make it a unionized production. This could potentially be a long term project.

Tommie Briggs Jr- 18yrs Multicultural, high school student class president. Football, basketball, and baseball jock. Very popular with the girls. 6’0″+ 200 to 220lbs Handsome, introvert, womanizer. Heading to Harvard Law School in his Dad’s footsteps. Spoiled brat, parents would never cross his thrush hold. Must be 18yrs to 21 yrs who can play high schooler.
Tommie Briggs Sr.- 40’s Caucasian, Afro American, or Hispanic.
Hard worker, loves his son to Death. Lets him do whatever he wants. Naive, doesn’t want to get on his bad side.
Wants Tommie to follow in his footsteps. Womanizer,
controlling
and has a chip on his shoulder. 40s to 50s age range. Tall
Good looking.
Ollee Briggs- 40’s Caucasian, Afro American, or Hispanic. Hard worker, loves her son to Death. Lets him do whatever he wants. Naive, doesn’t want to get on his bad side. She still does his laundry.
Kelly Hamilton- 17yrs, any race, cheerleader, naive, beautiful, wants to be popular. Honor roll student. Hispanic, Asian, and Caucasian. Petite, 105 to 120lbs and Must be 18yrs to 21 yrs who can play high schooler.
Cindy- 17yrs, any race, Junior in H.S. Quiet yet Social. Honor roll student. Offers tutoring support for fellow Class mates. Petite, 105 to 120lbs and Must be 18yrs to 21

Oscar- 18yrs Hispanic high school student. Tommie’s best buddy. Football, basketball and baseball jock. Very popular with the girls. 6’0″+ 200 to 220lbs Handsome. Knows all the dirt that Tommie has done to girls. Loves to hear the juicy details, but would never go that far. Too risky. Must be 18yrs to 21 yrs who can play high schooler.

Laina LittleJohn- Lead, 14yrs old, cute, petite frame. Afro American, Naive and innocent. Mommy’s girl. Can sing well. Sings in school choir.
Momma Patti- The grandmother of young Laina LittleJohn. She has fighting spirit but is an extremely loving patriarch for her family.
Wesley LittleJohn – Mid 40s father of Laina, Good looking, use to be an actor back in the day when he was younger. Divorced, working 2 jobs. Never home. Naive. Knows his daughter wouldn’t do anything outside of her character. He’s struggling to make ends meet. Wants to keep his daughter in private school no matter what. He has neglected to go in her room to see what’s happening with her. He’s missing the most important time of her life and he knows it. He finds out his daughter can sing quite well.
Destin D.- 15yrs old, Laina Best-friend since kindergarten, Sassy, cute, well developed for her age, grew up to fast. Street smart. All about the designer clothes and Money.
Detective Bill Monroe- 60s, been on the force for 30 yrs. Ready to retire, say whatever he feels. Doesn’t hold back. No patience for non-sense. Not sensitive. No compassion.
Jamal- 18 years old, preys on young naive girls online. Average looking guy. High school dropout. Computer geek.
