Hello, my name is Mikala and I’m working on my senior short film project. It’s about a college student who has a schizophrenic mental breakdown and with the support of his girlfriend, therapy and medication, he’s able to bounce back from rock bottom. I’m looking for actors for the following roles:
Lucas: black, male, age 18-23. He’s the lead.
Tasha: any race, female, age 18-23. Plays the girlfriend of Lucas.
Joseph: any race, male, age 18-23. Lucas’ friend
Dr. Ross: any race/female, age 30+
Professor:any race/female, 30+
Student in hallway: any race/gender age 18-23
Student in class: any race/gender age 18-23
Bystander1: any race/gender/age
bystander 2:any race/gender/age
Bystander 3: any race/gender age
If you prefer to be behind the camera, I’m looking for:
Boom operator, sound recorder, and production assistant. gear is provided.
I’ll be filming in the first three weekends of November. The locations will be on campus at Loyola, french quarter, a bedroom in a house and in Audubon Park.
