A Tearful Purr

This will be a silent, two-minute-long drama short film. It requires that you can work with a cat, and can convey emotions without dialogue.
NOTE: If you would like sides sent to you in advance, please email, and we will send them. We also accept video auditions.
There are two positions available:
Emily: a teenage girl or woman who adopted a cat in her loneliest times, and is now facing a moral dilemma involving the cat’s life. We are willing to change it to a man if you show you can do the part; this position is open to both men and women between the ages of 18 and 30.
Bernard: An older man who is sick of his job as a veterinarian. Recommended: the ability to handle smoke from a prop cigarette (no need to consume any of it). Preferred: man between 30-90 years old who can be considered between chubby or obese.
note: Abundant equipment will be used.
