MUGS FROM SPACE a sci fi x musical comedy,monochrome, synopsis: aliens attack prohibition era New York City ..can 3 Lower East Side orphans stop the alien’s rampage?. “Dey commed from outer space but dey’re keavin’ wit’ a knucle sandwich…”.
MUGS is seeking an Asian American comedic actor to play a fishmonger, a female actor 60s with a strong Irish brogue to play a cranky not very good Irish housekeeper, 4 showgirls and numerous extras for a night club scene circa 1929. All parts except the night club patrons are compensated. All cast appears in title credits. If you look right that day we will do a slow face pan across the crowd so you may extract it for your video resume. Saturday shoots in April..auditions by appointment also Saturdays. Midtown location TBA.
