Clown Car to Sicily is a musical sketch comedy group, looking for new members for a long term commitment! We are looking for comedians who are willing to write original content, perform in shows, and participate in production of shows.
We are an independent group, and we have collaborated with many talented actors, writers, musical directors, and directors in Chicago. We perform show runs throughout the city, and have participated in festivals annually, including the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, and the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival.
When: 7:30 – 10:30 PM, Thursday, June 21st, 2018

– Name
– Email
– Phone number
– Current head shot
– Resume (include training you have completed [Second City, iO, Annoyance, ComedySportz, etc], and any other improv, theatre, writing, or musical training you would like to add)
A confirmation email will be sent to you, with further information and answers to any questions you may have. Please attend the audition dressed in comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in. You do not need to bring a printed hard copy of your head shot or resume to the audition.
For the audition please prepare a 1-3 minute solo piece to perform. It must be original material you have written. It can be a monologue, song, stand-up, etc. You will also read selected scenes in groups, and sing.
Clown Car to Sicily rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings, 7:30 – 9:30 PM, at Perceptual Motion Dance Studio.
