Auditions for God of Carnage

Open Minds Theatre Company, a new producing arts organization in the Atlanta area, is casting for their inaugural production, God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton.
The audition is Sunday, August 5th from 7-10 pm at Active Sol Yoga (address: 200 Bennett St. Atlanta GA 30309).
Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue, bring one headshot/resume, and be prepared to stay the whole time as callbacks will follow the initial audition.
The show dates are October 12-14 at 8 pm at The Black Box at 4048 (within The Robert Mello Studio, but this production is in no way affiliated with the studio).
Currently casting three out of the four of the roles (Veronica, Annette, and Alan) as the role of Michael has been precast.
Actors must be able to play this age range: late 20’s to late 30s. Actors must be available for the performance dates (“well…duh!”, but still worth emphasizing) as well as our scheduled tech rehearsal on October 11th from 2:30-6:30 pm. Rehearsals will begin the week of September 3rd with rehearsals happening 3x a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-10 pm and Sundays 7-10 pm).

Actors will be paid a modest stipend. If interested in stage management or house management/box office position, please submit a resume with current contact information to openmindstheatreco@gmail.com (let’s see, how many times can we plug the email address in this post?) The stage manager will receive a modest stipend and the house manager, while not paid, will receive a few perks for their volunteer efforts.
