Spoon River

Washington and Eisenstadt Present is looking for actors ages 18 and up to bring to life selections from the Edgar Lee Masters classic poetry collection, Spoon River Anthology, adapted for the stage by Washington and Eisenstadt.
The deceased residents of the eponymous Spoon River deliver their own epitaphs. Sharing with the living the secrets they took with them to the grave. At times haunting, heartwarming, and humorous, the dead of Spoon River speak for all of us.
Auditions will be Tuesday, April 10th and Wednesday, April 11th 6 pm – 9 pm . Callbacks will be Thursday, April 12th.
Auditions will be held at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road. No appointment is necessary.
Sides will be provided, prepared monologues are also welcome
Performances are June 8th and 9th, 2018
