Casting the roles of Bridget Sullivan and Uncle John Morse for The Inquest of Lizzie Borden, a Contemporary Theatre of Boston production.
Bridget Sullivan, female, mid-20s. Housemaid to the Bordens. Irish, with a pronounced accent. Alternately brash/outspoken and polite/deferential.
Uncle John Morse, male, late 50s/early 60s. Lizzie Borden’s uncle. A little unkempt/eccentric. Can talk his way both into and out of trouble. Good appetite, especially when someone else is paying.
Rehearsals/performances: November 4-24, 2019.
Auditions are being held on Thursday, July 11, 6-9pm at the BCA Artist Studios Building, 551 Tremont Street (South End, Boston).
Non-Equity/Pay: $500 stipend for each role.
