Two young women make a new friend who shakes up their seemingly perfect friendship and faith.
Setting: Suburban North Carolina. No particular accent or background required.
Lacy? 30 years old. She is a ray of sunshine to everyone except herself. She’s a deep thinker, yetshe’s afraid of speaking her mind. She is altruistic to a fault. She is a Protestant Christian. She has dated a couple guys, but otherwise, she isn’t interested in being in a relationship.
Phoebe? mid thirties. She is a quiet, steady friend; sweet and kind. She adores Lacy. She is a strong believer in the Bible and Protestant values. She longs for a relationship, yet can’t get theone she really wants.
Julianna? late twenties. She’s new to the area. She works at a fast food place and rides a bike.She’s been in and out of enough relationships to not care anymore. She is wiley, yet an old soul.
Four rehearsals and four film days are needed.
