Looking for models and/or actors for an approximately two hour photo shoot in Virginia Beach, Va. The photos will be used as references for artists to draw characters from an up and coming young adult science fiction book series. The artwork will be used, but not limited or guaranteed for cover material, promotional material, for social media purposes, and/or references within the book itself.
Forbidden Shadows (Book 1) takes place 150 years in the future where any humans with technology that enhances them (i.e. sight, hearing, strength, etc.) are considered illegal and are hunted down. They are known as hybrids. The protagonist, Asher Smizik, is a 16 year old hybrid who is forced out of his safe have of 15 years. He tracks down a father he never met, and try to hide and fit in with a group of people that try to kill hybrids.

Cray is very athletic and loves to play all sports, except for those that require a lot of protector gear (i.e. football, ice hockey, etc.) He is a certified life guard. He is very good with computers. Although one could not tell by watching him, Cray is gay. He doesn’t deny it, but doesn’t flaunt it either. He is always smiling, happy go lucky kid. He is a social butterfly and a huge chatterbox.

Not only does he like to watch movies for enjoyment, but he loves to analyze them as well. He loves to write, direct and film his own movies with his friends. He can be a bit of a daredevil with his friends. They like to film themselves doing stupid stunts like jumping off a two story house onto a trampoline.
Cara Lundy

The senator is approximately 30 years older than her. Her step son is just a few years younger than her. She does not like her step son at all. She comes across as a rich, selfish, conniving bit#$, you get the picture. She is NOT your typical blonde bimbo. She is a smart cookie and not to be trusted.

She loves her students dearly and will do anything to protect them and help them succeed in life. She is very well respected by her former students and the academic community.

His paternal oldest uncle owns a scotch distillery, and his youngest paternal uncle owns a barley farm. He is very loyal and committed to his family, friends and country. He is whimsical and witty and can be a jokester and prankster. But he knows when to be serious too….well most of the time.

He loves his Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, Penguins and Anvils. The Anvils are Pittburgh’s professional basketball team in 150 years. He loves to rock out on his drums playing his era’s version of the 1980’s heavy metal bands. He recently found out he is a father to a 16 year old son. He is trying to transition into fatherhood, but he is finding it very challenging and frustrating at times.
Oscar Drake
Age Range: Later 30’s early 40’s
Ethnicity: African American
Physique: Muscular
Height: Over six feet tall
Weight: Looks like his slightly on the heavy side, but it’s all muscle
Hair Color: Bald

Notes: None of the following is required of the talent, but it gives you insight on the character. Oscar is a body guard. He is not afraid to put someone in their place. He protects and bails Senator Lundy’s 16 year old son, out of trouble all the time. You do not want to pick a fight with him. You will lose. But he can be a great big teddy bear as well. He is a positive influence and mentor to Brett Lundy, the senator’s 16 year old son. Oscar is the only one Brett fully trusts.
