Casting Call for Supernatural drama Manifest in NYC.
The Supernatural themed series is now filming a new season and the show’s producers are currently casting New York City locals that would like to work as paid background actors on set in upcoming episodes.
Manifest is created by Jeff Rake and premiered last year on NBC. The supernatural themed television series focuses on passengers and the crew members of an airplane that were originally presummed to have been killed in a crash yet somehow manage to reappear some five years after their deaths were announced. According to The TV show’s wiki page, Manifest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur.
The original series premired in 2018 with 16 episodes, 13 episodes of the show were ordered by the network with an additional 3 episodes that were ordered following the premiere. Some months back, the network announced that Manifest would be coming back with another season and those episodes are currently filming in the New York City area.
Also according to that Wiki page, the show begins as Montego Air Flight 828 from Jamaica to New York City experiences a brief period of severe turbulence. When they land, the passengers and crew learn that over five and a half years have passed while they were in the air, during which time they were presumed dead. As they reintegrate themselves into present-day society, the passengers begin to face the fact that their lives—and loved ones—are not the same as they were before, while they also begin to experience guiding voices and visions representing events yet to occur.
