Hi. I’m a newly single 37 mom and will finalize my divorce in 1 month. I’m trying to deal with divorce, adjusting to change in family dynamic and trying to figure out how I will make ends meet. I have full custody of my 4 boys. At times it’s difficult to put a smile on my face when in reality I want to hide in the corner.

Three years ago I lost my dear Mom, we were extremely close. She died the day after we returned from a cruise, she flew home from my home in Memphis, and had a double stroke that night. She lived another week in the hospital. It was really tough. Four months later my stepsister files a lawsuit against my Moms Million dollar estate.( It’s still going on 3 years later.) Six months after that, my job working for a local home builder came to an end when my boss and his wife stabbed me in the back and tricked one of my customers into signing a home contract with them, and I heard about it the next day and approached them about it. He know he was caught, and didn’t want to look bad, so he let me go, AND kept $84,000 in commissions that was coming to me over the next 5 months-homes already in in the construction process and some of the customers I had been working with over two years at that point. Then the next year I am told I have colorectal cancer and go through chemo and radiation for 4 months. I’m recovering from that and I find out my lawyer that I hired to represent me in the lawsuit against my Mom had been telling me to not worry about anything going on with the case and to just get better. She goes to the case two weeks ago expecting to get a ruling for a trial, and tells me I don’t need to be there (its 10 hours drive away) and she didn’t prepare properly! The judge granted the summary judgement to my stepsisters , and they were awarded the Million dollars that belonged to my Mom…and my Mom had a will! (My stepsister is a judge in another state and created a real good story about a ” expressed trust”. When I see the court reporter documents of the summary judgement, what she based her “undisputed facts” on, I had documented proof that what she was claiming was false, and let my attorney know. She decides to leave the case, and tells me to get another attorney. I find out from speaking with other attorneys its because if shes goes back with evidence that was available, but she didn’t use, the judge won’t take the evidence anyway and moreover she’d look like a bad attorney in his eyes. I’m still trying to find an attorney to fight this, I have 30 days. It’s really been an unreal several years!!! I feel cursed.

My work friend and I used to be very close. I actually have a little crush on him. But he started dating one of my friends and we drifted apart. Now that they’re broken up, I’m hoping to rekindle our friendship and maybe turn it into something more. We’re both in our early twenties, he just graduated and I’m still in school. Both of us have been working the same high-stress job for the past two years and are in desperate need of a vacation. I think we would be great candidates for this series.

I had to quit my job as a nurse due to being diagnosed with RA and other autoimmune issues and 18 months ago I lost my daughter to DHS custody due to her cutting. I just now regained custody, I’m single, she’s 17, and my son made me a grandma at 41 yrs old!!! I definitely need this!!! My body makes me feel like I’m 90!! I recently gained 40lbs and I’m so unhappy with my body! I want to destress as a mom and now as a grandma and work on myself for once and find me a man!! I’ve let myself go and that’s not me. Did I say I need this? I mean move over ladies… Jennifer is here!!!
